Instructor Profiles

Noel Yantos – Vice President, Operations and Chief Flight Instructor

oel is a highly qualified pilot and instructor with a background that includes extensive experience at both Part 135 and Part 121 carriers. Noel holds an ATP and is type rated in several different models of turbojet aircraft to include the CE-500, CE-525, LRJET, HS-125, WW24, and the AV-L39. Noel holds a Gold Seal Flight Instructor Certificate and has been teaching in jet aircraft for over 10 years. In addition to his operational responsibilities at Flight Crew systems, Noel manages a Citation for a San Diego-based company.

Christina Middleton - Vice President, Director of Training

hristina is a ground and flight instructor and she is responsible for all aspects of the Flight Crew Systems training content and curriculum. She began her flying career in 1988 and, most recently, she has been working as a corporate pilot flying both Citations and Lear Jets. Christina in an ATP and holds both CE-500 and CE-525(S) type ratings. Christina holds a B.A. Degree from San Diego State University as well as a M.S. Degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Roger Nutter

oger is a very experienced pilot and ground instructor with over twenty-five years of professional experience in the areas of aviation management and flight instruction. Early in his career, while in the United States Air Force, Roger designed multiple training courses to include one encompassing the C-141A. He also put together BE 100 and 200 training programs for Flight Safety and Citation courses for a number of corporate, charter and flight schools. Roger spent 5 years with the King Schools where he developed a number of syllabi that are still being used to this day. He is an ATP, CFII, MEI with 15,000+ flight hours. Roger is also typed in both the CE-500 and CE-525 series aircraft. He is a member of numerous professional organizations, most notably the National Association of Flight Instructors where he has obtained the highly prestigious title of Master CFI. Roger also held the role of FAA designated check airman, Aviation Safety Counselor and written test examiner. In addition to his work with Flight Crew Systems, Roger is an active corporate pilot who flies for an operator based out of Palomar in Carlsbad California.

President Profile

Stuart Illian

tuart is the president and owner of Flight Crew Systems and is responsible for the company's sales, marketing and administration. His diverse background includes aircraft sales, high tech business development, financial analysis and general management of a prominent software division. Stuart has been successful in a number of senior business positions for companies to include Lockheed Martin, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu (where he had the opportunity to work closely with both TWA and Air Midwest), NBC and Apple. He is a commercial and instrument pilot since 1980, having performed his flight training at both the University of North Dakota - Grand Forks and The Ohio State University where he once had the privilege of coaching the flight team. In addition to Stuart's work at Flight Crew Systems, he also serves on the Board of Advisors for Arizona-based software company known as Incentive Logic.
